DVD problems with original DVDs

Hello! First at all, sorry for my bad english and thanks for read this. Now the prob...

I bought a game and i introduced the DVD in the DVD drive but it not worked. I thought that was the game prob but i trayed other original dvd and it didnt work neither.

So i was doing some trys:

original cdrom: good
pirate cdrom: good
pirate dvd: good
original dvd: bad

I tryed with 3 dvd drives different with the same result and i tryed all those cd and dvd in a portable pc and they all worked good so is a fail from my computer, but i dont have idea how fix it.

I have Windows XP SP3 and my dvd is LG model GSA- H22n (dvd rewritter)

Does your drive work out of Windows? In other words, have you got a CD you can boot from, like Linux, Norton, Vista, or XP etc? If they read out of Windows then it's probably a software fault or early signs of hardware failure.

Go for a new drive if you can't read out of Windows. OR try in Safe mode.
