Is your mx 440 original fit or an upgrade?

If it is an upgrade have you completely removed ALL traces of your original card?

Also check 'Device Manager' to unsure that you haven't got any IRQ conflicts.

After a quick Google search it seems that some sound cards conflict with this video card, try uninstalling your sound card and try again.

If it is only certain games that cause the problem check the game sites for patches!

Please post full system spec including OS, with this info we can search for known conflicts.

When you had the motherboard replaced did they give you a 'Driver Disk' for the board?

The make and model will be on there.

Can I advise you to download a copy of Belarc Advisor.

Run the application and it will tell you your full system spec.

Without this info we have nowhere to start from and everything would be pure guesswork.

Can you take the RAM into your local Computer Store and ask them to check it?
