Slave the monitor onto another machine and check again.
If it works OK it is probably your Video Card.
If takes the red haze with it you have got a monitor problem!
Try another monitor on your machine if you get the same problem it is definately your video card!
If it points to the video card post back your full system spec and OS and we can see if it can be resolved.
