External hard drive
This relates to Firewire +USB external hard drive.
An external HDD gives the following problem on my desktop running windows98 SE
1. In firewire (1394) mode, the drive does not show up in MY COMPUTER
2. In USB mode, I can see the following in system/device manager
In hard disk controller: BAFO USB-ATA/ATAPI Mass storage controller
In USB controller: BAFO USB-ATA/ATAPI bridge controller
But in DISK DRIVES I don't see BAFO drive.
My PC has two internal hard disks. Could this be the reason why there is a problem recognizing a third hard disk
The same drive shows up in "MY COMPUTER" when connected to my laptop in firewire and also in USB port.
