Unhappy dating errors

i have a p3 machine running linux and everytime i boot up the machine the date gets backlogged by one day. everyday i have to get into the cmos setup and reset the date.
i dont know what could be causing this problem. please help me!

Do you use the computer by yourself or does someone else use it?

If so then they might be playing with the settings in CMOS, or they might be a problem in Linux. If so then try searching the web for Date & Time Updates.
