Virtually Indestructible Keyboard (USB) not working with XP Pro computer
I have an XP Pro computer with the VIA chipset/usb. I plugged in my Virtually Indestructible Keyboard FLX-2000 and it tried to be installed and it says it can't find the software. I know the keyboard is fine because I tested it on 2 windows 2000 machines and tried it in another XP Pro machine and it worked great! I can't see why my computer won't take it.
When I plug it in to ANY of my USB ports it comes up as Other devices - > USB device.
I know my usb ports have to be in reasonable condition because I run video capture devices, pocket pc, and a digital camera.
When I have it plugged in during boot the keyboard works great for changing bios and everything, just when XP comes up all the status lights on the keyboard light up.
I talked with tech support and they said to update the driver on it to Microsoft Natural Keyboard, I got a code 10 error(device cannot start) and they could not help me beyond that.
Thanks ahead of time to all of you who help out on this one!
