Unhappy Help!!!

ok...umm..my Dell Dimension 4300 is umm functioning weird. All i just did is reseat my memory stick and processor...and now its not booting the OS at all . I called Dell and they said i should run the diagnostic utilities but it froze everytime i did that . Even outside the OS everything froze and i dunno what is causing such a thing. I was wondering...Dell ran me around in circles for a few days and i have no idea what to do eek! My computer is bogged down and Dell said that maybe that it was a defective processor or memory stick or motherboard..but thats too general. Anybody here know how to resolve this problem or has anyother suggestion on how to fix it?
By the way...Dell will send a tech over to replace the processor and memory, and if it still doesnt work..theyll send a new motherboard. Oh..i just remembered...when i boot up it doesnt any booting devices..even though the IDE cables are plugged in. Anyways my config for my comp is as follows:
Dell Dimension 4300
Pentium 4 1.6GHz
512MB SDRAM
Dell Motherboard
Windows XP Professional
Zip 250 drive
DVD/CDRW combo drive
64MB GeForce2 Video Card
Integrated Audio
4 USB ports
2 Audio Jacks
...

Help EEK!!

Perhaps reseating all cables, cards etc will help as the act of removing memory/cpu will have flexed the board and you will have disturbed them.
In particular, clean all edge connectors with a rubber eraser.
