I've been using this card for sometime now without any problems until the last couple of weeks. DVD's and VCD's play perfect on the comp using the realmagic software but on the TV it's all wavey and I have a large line that scrolls up the screen. I've checked the cables that connect the comp to the tv and all seem ok ( using a scart converter ). Any ideas on how to resolve this anyone.

Is the card set to 50 Hz frequency?

No it's set to 32hz which seems to be the default I tried setting to 50 but no pic at all with that setting. ( this is a pal system not a ntsc ) hope that helps.

Nope. It is possible that the tv has a power supply fault. (mains hum shows as a slow black bar traversing the screen)
Have you tried another set?

It's not a black line more like a transparent wavey line qnd quite large. I retested last night and can hardly get a picture at all now.
