Angry hotmail storage problems.

Hotmail tells me that I have used 53% of my storage...strange as I have deleted everything on it!!!!!
As for sending them emails for the last 2 weeks,I may as well bang my head against a wall...like other people have suggested they apparently cannot be bothered to answer.

Anybody any idea what's going on and how I can rectify this problem.I've tried cancelling my account and re-opening it but to no avail.Cheers,Ray.

Yeah s7,couldn't agree more.Unfortunately by the time I've told all my friends my new email address, then gone on to contact Ebay,Banks,Clubs etc etc a whole day will have gone so I'm stuck with Hotmail for a while + will have to try to get to the bottom of this all.

Yes. I know what you are saying. I have retained a Hotmail addy too if only for nostalgic purposes. Bluebottle is nice as it will monitor hotmail with a response system totally eliminating spam or any email you do not want. Very nice and it saved my old hotmail account from mega spam.

I don't understand. I've used hotmail for years with no problem. Sounds to me like you're not deleting your mail. If you want to save it for later use or reference then copy it to a folder on your computer, don't save it on their server. Empty your trash, even though they will after awhile. If you save fifty or so emails in your inbox then of course you're always gonna be over 50% in use.
