IE5 to 6 favorites error

I've got the following problem: I bought a new computer with WinXP home (sp1), dutch version (where i live!). on the old pc, i burned my internetexplorer 5.01 favorites -folder to cd-r and later on the new comp. i saved these favorites from IE5 to the new favorites-folder in winXP. but here is my problem: some fav's DO work and some others DONT! the errormessage is "can't open this internet-link, is not started"
This is annoying, as the faulty links don't show the URL in a yellow box when highlighted.
can anyone help me with this?

I hope you still have the old computer around... if so,,, just open IE and click on "File" and then "Export and Import" and follow the screen to the end,, that will export you favorites to a file called bookmark.htm or bookmark.html.... then you can copy that file into your new PC and then to the same Export and Import process... that's it... basically you can move or copy your favorites to any computer like that,,,, it is not IE issue at all.

it worked!
i actually knew about this and had the IE favorites already exported on a floppy, but i did something wrong last time. I tried again, backing up new favorites, clearing the existing folder and importinfg as you said. i then added the new links and voila...
