corrupted files during downloads using internet explorer 6.1 under XP platform

I need help.
The last two weeks, everytime that i try to download a file from the web the file is corrupted.
Did anyone experienced the same problem and whats the fix

It is more likely to be the file that you are trying to download that is corrupt.

Give us a link to one of the files that is giving you problems so that we can check the file.
