internet speeds

i know there may be millions of reasons but i just need to know where to start:

i have a win2k computer and a winXP computer linked upt to a router and then the router is connected to a DSL hub, the strange thing is that the XP computer download ALOT slower than the 2k computer. the 2k usually gets 150kb/s+ while the XP gets around 80kb/s =/
