pricey ?

when for $900 you could assemble yourself a computer why invest in 500GB !

ugly and useless. If its not bootable, and if its not protected in the pc case, its not for everyone!!!

I'm impressed with 500 GB on a hard drive. But I'm having trouble filling up my 80 GB drive. I may not think this way down the road, but I don't see why a 500GB drive would ever be needed.

For them, I'm sure it will...3,083,324,652 web sites in its db. I wonder how much space that would take.

Usefull to Google Yes, Someday might be usefull to a home user, but dont think its a hot item! someday we will all need a 500GB but not at this time, i sure hope by the time we have a need for a storage device this size it will be much faster!!!
