Webcam with MSN

Hey, im new to this forum btw ill just state that now.

i've got a webcam and installed it etc but for some reason when i click on the webcam icon on MSN the webcam cums up and its just snow / haze in the box i cant change what webcam i use on the webcam settings either cause the tap wont let me click it, any ideas?
