Question mailing in outlook!!!!

helo,
im having a problem, i suppose to send mail using microsoft outlook (NOT outlook expres), while composing the mail, html tags should be use, but when the receiver view the mail it should be like normal html page, instead of showing html tags.....
Now this can be done using asp...setting object in server, but i cant use server....or even copy paste!!!

So it has to be done using only outlook
Is anyone there to help???

Hope this helps

Try this:

Tools
Options
Then click on the "Mail Format" tab
make sure that HTML option is the one you pick.

Let me know if this works. We use Outlook all the time and I can keep looking if this does not work.

Now let me see if I have this right, you are writing HTML inside of the body of the email. Which is something I have never tried and do not know if it is really possible to make it work like you are trying to do. Hopefully someone else with more knowledge than me will jump in here and help.

Have you tried sending your web page as an attachment? This might be the best way to do it until you can figure out why the other way is not working.

Ok, step by step

open a new message

type in the email address

type in what ever message you want to send

click on the paper clip or if you don't have the paper clip showing click on the "insert" button then the "file" button

a box will pop-up - tell it where to find the file and then click "insert"

your file will then be attached to the email.

One thing that I did not think of before, if the person you are sending the email to does not allow HTML in their email, then they would not be able to receive a HTML document.
