AIM Connection Problems

For the past two weeks or so, I haven't been able to connect to AIM. I am baffled as MSN and Yahoo both work, as does AIM Express. I usually use Trillian for instant messaging and I even downloaded AIM itself, even that would not connect. I have no idea what to do.
