everytime i go to a different web page my computer makes a beeping sound is there anyway to turn this off...i have aol

Go to Sounds & Audio Devices [via Start then Control Panel] On the Sounds tab, either in the Sound scheme drop down menu select no sounds which will turn off ALL system sounds; or in the Program events window, scroll down to any individual item you want to change or turn off, and highlight it, and in the Sounds drop down menu choose none.
