Exporting Internet Settings etc.

My daughter-in-law is running XP Home on her PC.

She wants to transfer her Internet and Outlook Express settings and accounts to her laptop.

I'm sure there is a way of exporting a .IAF(?) file with all the info but can't for the life of me remember how to do it.

Can anyone tell me how to go about exporting the above please?

Send a message via Yahoo to DA Master
Outlook Express
Open OE and then go to File > Export then save that file to wherever you want. Then go to File > Import and then search for the file from the floopy disk you might put it on.

Internet Explorer
To export favorites to bookmarks or favorites on the same or another computer, click the File menu, and then click Import and Export. To import bookmarks or favorites, click the File menu, and then click Import and Export.

thanks for both replies.

In the end I did it by having the laptop and PC next to each other and then copying over the details manually from one to the other.

Worked a treat.
