blocking websites ugh

ok i have post a similar thread about this subject but the thing is that it didnt work for ALL internet accesses that my computer is capable of....

Bookworm (ty btw) taught me how to block it

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 myspace.com

well... it worked for modailla firefox but 4 some reason didnt work for SBC Yahoo! DSL... & idk how to block it from there
someone help plz!

I'm not clear on exactly what you're trying to do...

i want to completely block myspace from ANy program that tried to access it

i did it with modzilla firfox but it wont work with SBC yahoo DSL <--- thats wat in trying to block
