Getting Red X on the pictures

i am getting red x on the pictures i dont know what to do i have tried to do the internet options to make all the sercurity to defult but it still happening i dont know what to do and i even checked that it is selected for show pictures but it is still happening what to do it happend on yaho and other websites can someone help me

are u runing winxp? if so what service pack? and if i were you i would get mozilla firefox. it has best sureity and more features. i am 100% sure it will get rid of the x and will load pages faster.

prolly a dns error, making the links to the images invalid.... changing browsers wouldn't fix a problem like that. or maybe your using dialup, and the cord/modem is ajar/damaged

Make sure you have the latest flash player from macromedia installed. A lot of sites are built with flash these days and if you don't have it installed the pics won't display. My pc at work has no flash (to stop us playing flash games) and a lot of sites are missing pics, replaced with the red x you speak of.
