I agree with you, and in fact, don't many many corporations prefer to use Linux? Doesn't that tell you something?
And I remember reading about the FBI advising to use Firefox for security reasons.

Yes, many corporations use linux or BSD as they have an OS already perfected that they can mold further to suit their needs.

Without required activeX, you miss a lot.

The only thing I can think of that you miss without activex is the genuine windows valadation thing. Sure, thats alot -.-
