How to speed up internet speed?

My internet is extremely slow, not IE or firefox is working properly.

I have bitdefender total security 2008, and it is still slow, ive checked for viruses, trojans of the like, and i have none.

Only msn.com and hotmail work, but not the australian versions.
Does anyone have any clue as to wht could be the problem?

Google search programme TCP Optimizer. Its a small programme, open it up and ajust the bar your internet speed and click optimize settings. I think you have to restart. Then check your speed.

If you have any problems post on their forums they ahve some extreme interent experts on that site. They helped me with my problem

Well, if you are running Firefox, several things can be done to increase your browsing speed. Running on an ancient machine with a massive processor of 857mHZ, and 32MB of ram, i've often had to look to software solutions to speed things up. First of all, you should try disabling BitDefender when you browse the internet, only to observer the change. Also, as your problem may be a slow internet connection, i reccomend DownThemAll for image rich sites. Aside from being quite handy when downloading multiple images, it is a download accelerator, thus making pages like Myspace or Facebook, or any other image rich site, load much faster: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201

I think your problem has been gatherd with your ISP. How I accume it?

1. IE, Firefox both are't working properly.
2. some versions of msn, hot mail not work But some versions work.

( Mostly the No 2 happens due to the some server or link trubles of
your ISP's Network )

Contact your ISP
