"How to delete a Hotmail account". Have tryed in Outlook Express Tools\Accounts\ Mail Tab but there is no Hotmail.
Did anybody had the same problem?

Hi, when I did put in Hotmail, MSN came with it

Now I want to get rid of Hotmail, and there should be a way of dealing with this.
I have seen people ask the same question, but I haven't seen any answers.

Hotmail is an e-mail account.Have you opened a hotmail account ?If not then there's nothing to delete.

MSN is an ISP.If you go Start/connect to/show all connections you may find it here.If so delete it. If not go Start/search/files and folders and search for it in your C drive

adding to the original question : yes, indeed, I would like to know how the actual hotmail-mailbox can be deleted.
Can you submit a request to somewhere to delete the mailbox ?
It gets loaded with spam, but when I leave the mailbox in existence, occasional correspondents will not receive an error saying mailbox does not exist anymore.

So I am NOT talking of deleting/adding a mailbox account in Outlook Express to view the Hotmail mailbox...

To close an existing Hotmail account!
1. Open your inbox of the account you want to close.
2.click HELP on the tab near options.
3.click top coustomer questions.
4.follow the instructions
