how do i reset the size of my internet screen?

Hi there i hope someone can help me my knowledge of computers is zero.

how do i reset the size of my internet screen?
when it opens it opens that large that i have to use the scroll bars to see all the page.
I know it's simple to do but i just don't know how, please help.

If the text is large, it may just require changing the text size.

If you have a wheel mouse, hold either one of the Ctrl keys down and spin the wheel. Play with it until you have things the way you want them.

If you don't have a wheel mouse, in Internet Explorer (assuming that's what you're using), up on the title bar click on View>Text size and click on something smaller than the one that has the check mark.

Hi thanks for your answer, however i tried that and it hasn't helped.
i dont think its the text size i think its more to do with the actual display screen size but im not reall sure.

You could try changing the resolution;
Click on;- Start/Control Panel/Display/Settings tab/and use the slider to adjust the screen resolution.

Another thing that I think will work is moving your mouse cursor to one of the corners of the Internet Explorer screen.

Once you do that, the cursor icon should change from the standard cursor to two arrows. Hold down the left mouse button and then move the mouse, and the window size will change.

You can try this on all sides of the window; for example the top or bottom. By doing that you will adjust the window size in only direction as opposed to two.

Try messing around with the window sizes and you'll find something that works.

Open your browser resize it then close. reopen your browser and it should re-open to where you last closed it
