error msg when opening the excel attachments received from external mail servers

hi friends

i have a problem receiving excel attachments from external mail servers(Yahoo,gmail etc.,) . i am able to receive the attachment. But when i am trying to open it is showing error message stating that "xyz.xls cannot be accessed.The file may be read-only, or may be trying to access a read-only location, or the server the document is stored on may not responding.". if i click cancel it is opening the excel document and all the data in the document is O.K. But why it is displaying that error message? This is not the case if i send the excel file attachment within the exchange Organisation. My exchange server is configured with SMTP connector to download mails from external web mail server.



Pls can any body help me out?
