Error message in Outlook Express 6

Hello all, This is my first time here. I have a problem with Outlook Express 6. My trash can for recycle bin always shows something in it even after I empty it. When I empty it a Error message says ( Cannot delete ante[1]: Cannot find specified file. The header for the message is (Error deleting file or folder). Also there is 2,235 KB always in recycle bin after I run disk cleanup, there seems to be two files it can’t delete. Any help will be greatly appreciated in correcting this problem ps. I am running Widows XP Pro.

ANZAC hi I went into safe mode and the trash can shows empty so i tried emptying it anyway but it still gives me the same error message, it tells me i still have two items in it. Weirdest thing, but shows full in normal mode. Any other ideas would be helpful?

OK Oldtimer i found what you were talking about and tried it but to no avail, but it only deletes whats showing in the recycle bin, but still doesn't delete the two items not showing. I found the two items i think, two in Registry Editor under HKEY_USERS and the same two in c:\Documents and Settings under program files, Recycler. I'm not to sure weather i should delete them their or not with out messing something up, but i am pretty sure those are the culprits. If no other advice can be found I'll just have to take the chance an delete them.
