Unhappy Firefox Broken?

Hey people.
I have recently downloaded the Firefox browser, after everyone telling me its amazing, so I decided to try it myself.
Everything installed ok, but when Im veiwing a webpage, the whole screen is "jumping" up and down. As if Im using the scroll on my mouse up & down reeeeealy fast. Makes my eyes hurt!

I have tried downloading from the Mozilla site, and a version from another source, but they both do the same!
Anyone know how I can maybe fix it please?

Thanks in advance people.

Same thing happened with my Firefox. Uninstalled, re-installed. Still the same. Doesn't happen with any other browser (or any other application for that matter). Never did find the cause, so I switched to Opera which is faster than FF anyhow and no 'jumping'.

Yes Opera is very good browser as well, and if you are experincing problems with mozilla and still wanting to try out other browsers than FireFox Opera would be a great alternative.

You might try a much earlier version. I'm using v 1.0.6, tried a few later versions, but they were all somewhat buggy, although I never saw anything like what the above posters report. Version 1.0.6 works perfectly for me. Wonder what's up with FF development, each version lately is more buggy than the last?

Oh, and careful which extensions you install, and don't go overboard with numerous extensions. That's just begging for trouble. Some aren't entirely stable, others will conflict.

Thanks alot for the help people, I am now using Opera and I think its pretty good!
One question though, I used to have Download Accelerator Plus automatically open when I wanted to download something, but now it downloads in Opera itself.
I have had a look but cant seem to find any way to change it back to having DAP as my default downloader. Any Ideas?

Thanks

I'm not sure if DAP can integrate into Opera at all...
But you could try re-installing it after you installed Opera.

I've never had one problem with firefox. Of course I guess that means I'm lucky. In fact I'm using it right now, and it's on all 4 of our computers here. <3 Extensions mate!
