Talking Internet Problem

Ok im having problems with my internet connection and stuff i just redid my computer and now it doesnt even want to conect to the internet but im not to sure what the big problem is and stuff so if someone could help that would be nice

Unhappy problem with connection

please help me I caint connent to the internet I am to get the verizon security suite but it wont let me download please help me

What kind of internet connection are we talking here? You using dial up, DSL, cable, t1?

well if your talking to me then i have cable and it gives a code 10 and says i have no drivers or something but i dont got a program to fix anything

Now I'm not an expert as far as cable goes, but it just sounds like you're lacking the drivers to connect properly. Now, I assume you have a cable modem of some kind, so if you do have a CD for that then it should fix the problem. However, I'm guessing you don't, so you might want to figure out exactly what drivers you need and ask for them in the Drivers section of the forum.

Ok, first need to know if you are using a USB connection or ethernet. If it's USB then it is plausable that yourr modem itself needs to be installed.. if you don't have the cd that came with the modem you will need to talk to your Internet Service PRovider and ask for a new copy.

If your connection is ethernet.. are you running windows XP? If so, then it is likely that you can just uninstal your network card from device manager and reboot your computer.. generally on reboot windows xp can instal from its own directory of drivers.

Failing that you will need to contact either your computers manufacturer or the retail business that sold you the machine to get it installed.

They seem to have a fair bunch of stuff available for internet troubleshooting and such.
