adobe nightmare

Hi, I am running win xp pro and I have been trying to get to a folder on my cd rom but everytime I try, I get a pop from abode flash that says it wont open this folder because it might be unsafe. WTF! I went into there settings window, no luck. I went to their support page, no luck. Called them on the phone, was given a new support page and guess what, no luck! Before I reformatted three weeks ago, I had no problem but now.......Please, if anyone knows anything about us know. BTW, is it me or has anyone else noticed that google is acting like the rogues that once installed refuse to be uninstalled? Thanks in advance
