Red face connection to internet only for 20 seconds.. help me please

Hello,
I've just moved to a new place with roomates where they have internet connection. I can receive the signal and emit also but every 20 seconds or so the connection drop off.. the IP adress is 000 as well as everything else..
Could you help me solve this problem? I show my computer to several people and no one seem to understand why I don't get internet connection. everybody one seems fine...

Hi There,

Did anyone suggested to change your network card or your network cable? that's a place to start, if you are sharing your Internet with you roommate , that would mean you have a router in place ! have you checked to see if there is any kind of filter for your MAC on the router setting ? Did you try to un-bind and bind-back the TCP/IP stack to your network card to see if that would change anything......
