but all the confused with alll tech on the page???

I found a WL-530G Asus pocket router (what that is i have no idea what it really is.. there is no instructions manual on it! )... it looks weird.. i think i am missing the switch thing it was talking about on the site....

Im not familiar with that type of router...i have a linksys here...
Is that one a wireless one?
what operating systems are on the 2 pcs?
If the router is wireless is that how you want to connect?
Does the PC's have wireless cards installed? or are u connecting them via eternet cables to the router?

Go here and grab the user manual
http://support.asus.com/download/dow...&model=WL-530g

are u using either of the pcs at the moment to access the internet? and if so...are u using them with that new router ?

to find out wat operating system u have go to control panel and click System..itll be listed under the General tab

the pcs in question..are they desktops ? or laptops maybe ? IF they are desktops then im guessing they didnt come with a wireless cards installed so ull have to use eternet cable to wire them up to the router...

you need to decide HOW u want to connect the pcs to the router...by cable OR wireless......
