OpenDNS

I tried that and my users still were able to assign different DNS and get around the block. Cunning little evils. :-)

Hi lestrade, are you running a domain network? Remove admin privleges from their PCs.

Goto INTERNET OPTIONS/CONNECTIONS/LAN SETTINGS and enter in a bogus IP address/port. THEN GOTO "DONT USE PROXY FOR" and enter all the sites that you wish to ALLOW ACCESS TO..

answer

1] Browse C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

2] Find the file named "HOSTS"

3] Open it in notepad

4] Under "127.0.0.1 localhost" Add 127.0.0.2 sitenameyouwantblocked.com , and that site will no longer be accessable.

5] Done!

I just wanted to say.... YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE '127.0.0.1' you can use '0' fine (zero)

0 google.com for example
