ie7 & FTP problmes saving passwords

I am trying to get a FTP site to hold a password. It did so using ie6.

When opening a FTP site I get prompted for a password when opening it in ie7. I have checked the save password box within the site and checked all of my internet settings to match a computer which the password does save and I can't seem to get it save the password.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have looked everywhere for the same solution and it drives me crazy that IE7 doesn't have a good option for FTP....I gave up and start using open source / free software-> FileZilla:

It works great and you can save all of your FTP account credential as profile and can connect using on button.

Great! It is just so weird that I can save the password on one PC and not another. I just feel like I am missing a setting.
