Alternat Programs For MSN Messenger

Hello Everyone
I have quite a quick question really, is there an alternate program that could used other than Msn Messenger and that would allow someone to use there Hotmail account, also (and I know this is asking a lot) is there one with more parental controls, this is for a customer of mine who would like to keep a closer eye on her daughter without actually looking over her shoulder all the time, if anyone has any clues I would be most great full.

As far as I know, no there isn't.

If your 'customer' is concerned about her daughter going on to certain websites, then install a parental control. Norton has 1 built in to it's SW.

That'll be the best thing to do, not necessarily Norton, but any parental control would be OK to block certain websites.
