help needed, blocking pages ..........

hii there,
i actually want to block a couple of web sites on my personal computer , in a way that the 3rd person shouldn't know that the perticular site is blocked!!
i have used "we blocker" , but it actually tells straightaway that ur site is blocked
so can some 1 plz tell me any software or any trick 2 do so !!!?

To block a particular website on your computer follow the following steps:

Step 1:

Go to

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Step 2:

Open a “host” file in notepad. At the bottom of the line, you can see as follows
127.0.0.1 localhost

Add the following line at the end

Ex: 127.0.0.1 www.abcxyz.com localhost

The above code is written to block www.abcxyz.com website on my pc.
