Also, I know it's not those settings because I have my work machine configured the same way and I can access netflix at work. I thought it might be my router, so I bypassed it but no luck. I've tried on IE 6 and can't access the site that way either. The only thing I can think of is somehow I hosed a setting when I ran HijackThis a month or so back to rid my box of some CWS spyware. But why would it only affect one website? I'm currently running Spyware Blaster and Spybot, could that be the problem? This is getting to be an issue at my house as my pregnant wife is getting tired of going to the video store! Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated?

Well, knowing just what you hosed with hijack this would help, I don't think it would effect just this one site and savagefamily's system too as he reported not being able to get on too.
This was stated at the netflix site and something that could be wrong on both yours and savagefamily's system, especially since we just went through a time change.
If the problem persists, you may need to check the date and time of your computer system. Java is very date/time sensitive. If your system date/time is unreadable, then you will be redirected to an error page about your cookies not being enabled. To check your date/time:
1. Go to the "Start" menu of your computer
2. Select "Control Panel"
3. Open the "Date/Time" field
4. Verify the date is correct (date and year)
5. Correct date, if needed
6. Click "Apply"
7. "I'm Ready to Try Netflix for Free Now"
(Be careful as to not mess with the date if it's right, certain programs that expire run on your computer's time and date function.)
It doesn't say you be denied access but rather redirected, which could be where the problem comes in at.
Other than this I could not produce a setting that would get me denied access. I have Firefox 1.0 and in tools\options\web features having the option load images's "for the originating web site only" checked, messed with the sites images loading up. Other than that, haven't found a way to be denied access with Firefox or IE 6.
