Having trouble with a webpage forum

Hello, hopefully I'm posting this in the right place, I recently signed up for a forum online, and have a couple of private messages that I have to respond to, however, even though I exceed the post count required to post a PM response, the forum still will not let me. I know I am logged in with my user/pass, so it's not that I am forgetting to be logged in.

Another weird thing is that the forum doesn't remember my user/pass, even if I tell it to remember it, I've never seen that happen before. I sent the admins an email a few days ago asking about the problem, but never got a response. So I guess my question is, is there something not enabled/disabled in my browser that I'm missing, or is it a problem with the forum itself? I've tried using IE and Firefox, but get the same results with both. If it matters, the forum I'm using is a phpbb forum, I use several of those and yet this particular one is the only one that gives me problems.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Hmm if you've exceeded the number of posts/comments/PMs available to you, then you won't be able to post any more until the time limit expires, usually 24 hours for a given number of posts, unless you actually pay cash money for the full entitlement. If you mean you haven't exceeded the total allotment of posts/PMs you can send, then contact the site's moderators or administrator to clear the problem up.

The not remembering your login ID stems from the cookie protection/deletion thingy withn the browser. By adding the site to the list of trusted sites within your browser's privacy settings, it shouldn't delete/ignore the cookie when you exit and you should be remembered the next time you visit the site.
