Hello,
I am using a PC wired to DSL via the wall socket/supplied DSL Modem/D-Link Router...then ethernet cable to back of my computer into a RealTek.
My wired PC works great, most of the time(rarely goes down), but the wireless Toshiba Satellite M35X-S349 Laptop with built-in wireless card does not work 99% of the time.
Both the PC and Laptop give me the icon with the red X saying "network cable unplugged/RealTek RTL8139/810X Family", but the laptop also gives me an error stating that "wireless network connection is not connected to Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection".
Now, the RealTek is the adapter connected to my wired computer from which I type this. From what I read the network cable unplugged would be the cable from the D-Link to my RealTek, but if my internet works could that be the case, doubt it, but

.
When I move the wireless router around, the laptop recognizes it and says "limited or no connectivity", but I still can't get online.
Could this mean the DLink router is bad?
Any other ideas? I've change the wires from DSL modem to wireless router, and from wireless router(DLink) to my port on back of wired computer. Didn't help and all connections are good.
On a side not, I checked my Network Connections on my wired PC and it shows a Local Area Connection 2, and lists the Dlink as being active and ok.
The RealTek is listed under "LAC" 1, and shows cable unplugged...perhaps the RealTek isn't the Ethernet port in the back of my wired PC.
