moving database as moving host... prob with myphpadmin export/import

hello
am moving host and so have to move my mysql database.....

through myphpadmin (old) I have exported then saved as a sql text file
through myphpadmin (new) I have imported it.....

PROBLEM... the new myphpadmin says 'error' 'database already exists'

This is the first time I have needed to do this...

QUESTION:.. any ideas of how to export import without this error

SORTED.....!

instead of exporting to a file, I copied and pasted the sql content between the two myphpadmins.. with one alteration...

... at the top of the file it said:
CREATE DATABASE (myname)

I deleted this bit but kept all else

Now all tables and contents are in new myphpadmin
