browser needs to be refreshed before will show swf files??

hello

two browser pages have to be refreshed before they will show their swf file content..?

when first called, the area is blank... but if simply refreshed, then they show with swf content....

.... any ideas of the hickup?
.... obviously the desired situation is that they show when browser first called

INFO: IE7 now upgraded to IE8 but same occurance

thanks for thoughts
Stephenn

Check the settings of IE just in case, as far as i remember you need to go to advanced settings and there will be a list of loaded content - give it a try, may be something's wrong there

thanks for thoughts:

we used to run FP v9 and had no prob
upgraded to FP v10 and then the issue occured
(have re-loaded just in case, and would prefer to not go back to v9.... but yet to solve mystery)

have had a look around IE settings but as yet have not spotted any that may cause this quirk.

The irritating bit is that It does play.... but only when refreshed once and not at first page appearance
REFRESH does solve it..... but would be more acceptable if it appeared viewable on first page call.

This is what viewsource says......
we are off to explore if the source coding may need evolving......
is there anything obvious that needs a refresh?
Code:
<div id="Oobjind01swf"> <object id="Igeo496" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=4,0,2,0"> <param name="movie" value="./media/myvisual_film_anim.swf"/> <param name="quality" value="best"/> <param name="play" value="true"/> <param name="loop" value="false"/> <param name="menu" value="false"/> <embed id="Igeo496" src="./media/myvisual_film_anim.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" quality="best" play="true" loop="false" menu="false" > </embed></object></div>

cheers for now
