Network Cable Unplugged??

I have a wireless adapter hooked up (it came with the computer), yet I still get that message. What's the deal? It doesn't even recognize that there is a wireless adapter?

I think I'm missing the drivers, but I'm not 100% sure I know which ones to get (or why the drivers wouldn't already be there since it came with the computer!). The computer is an eMachine from about 2005. I looked up the model number (T3410) and all I could find is that it's most likely Broadcom (why couldn't they be more specific!!). I went to their website, but I have no idea what the model number is.

Any help would be appreciated!
