Anyone read the book: "The Internet Incident" ?

I am looking for information which comes from a book entitled " The Internet Incident".

The book details the true story of a group of German Hackers in the mid 80's hacking US Government Networks for the KGB.

The Hackers were eventually caught and some were arrested and another meet with a mysterious death.

If anyone knows what the name of these events is called or knows a site where I can get more information on this could they please reply.

When I first started in computing, I was informed by a friend to go to a certain cafe in Hannover, Germany, where some of the really good computer savy people used to hangout.

I went there quite often and go to know a few of the guys there. There were 3 in that group who looked worse for wear and the excuse was that they were spending all their time hacking.
I was told quietly not to get involved with them since they were headed for a fall.

About 12-18 months later they turned up on TV having been arrested for hacking. Only two were tried, the third one was found in a car in a forest, having, apparently first shot himself in the head, then got out of his car and set it on fire then got back into the car.

The three of them were working for the East German Stasi, payment was a kilo of cocain, for their own use and DM3000,- about US$1500.-.
