Can you help with FTP please

I am having trouble trying to get my very first web page up. I made it in Frontpage 2002. I am using cute FTP 5.0 to try and upload the page. I get error message "425 Cant open data connection".
Any suggestion would be appreciated

Are you using Port: 21?

yes I am using port 21

Try looking at your FTP's help file.

1) open command prompt in windows
2) type "ftp your domain name or ip address"

then follow the prompts for username and password

and cut and paste the whole thing from the DOS prompt here and let us see !
