finding files RH 9

I used to be a MS Windows XP user and recently switched to RedHat 9.

I'm trying to install Kdevelop 3.0.4 and they are asking me where my KDE3 is. I'm not sure what they mean. Where the download file is or the "program files" (like in XP)? I'm very confused.

KDE is the main GUI used by SuSe. For the most part, Red Hat tries to use Gnome. You can read about KDE here:

but I bet Red Hat has an .rpm on your install CDs which will insert KDE if you run it.
