I have a problem with a user. When logged onto the network and uses Micorosoft Word 97, selects save as and window appears to save to a location. When selects the drop down box to change from default location the system crashes.

The operating system is NT4 Server and Desktop.

When I log onto the user's laptop under my domain admin account the application works fine.

I have tried the following but still the problem persists:-

1. Recreated local and Server profile for user.
2. Change the Normal.dot template.
3. Gave the user local admin rights to the laptop.

I am wondering if anyone out there has came across this problem before and how they resolved the issue?
