Various Firefox questions

I thought i would start a thread instead of harassing DMC all the time!

I installed Firefox yesterday and i need a few questions answered. I will add questions as i come across them.


1. Is there any way to speed up Firefox?. It doesn't seem to be as fast as AOL!.

2. Why will it not let me log on to a different forum?. I can browse the forum...no problem...but, when i try to logon it just says 'waiting for response from xyz' etc...

as for speeding it up...it's wont be much faster unless you get a faster connection. you can tweak a few things but you wont notice much difference. the alternate browser issue has been a hot topic lately, i will hold my opinions about firefox and other distros of mozilla so i dont have to argue about it........
