Windows 2003 Networking

Installed W2003 Std. Server as a workgroup (very small office with only 5 CALs), all 5 users attaching are xp pro sp1 clients in same workgroup. cannot connect or see server under network on xp client however can see xp client on server.

Do you have the Active diretory running ? IS that a file server of application server ? did you want to make a domain server, that way it would be a hell of lot easier to join a machine to doamin server then work group server.

why are you using server 2k3 to run a workgroup? makes no sense.
