win2003 network problm

Angry win2003 network problm

hi all,
i hav a win2003 with 2 lan cards with diffrent ip address

and the event log of machine giiving continues error of net bois duplicate
name exists in the network with event is 4319
and whn i checked the nbtstat the conflict is b/w these two adapters installed in the smae machine. well iam new to this 2 card in same machine thing .pls let me know if u hav anythign to helpmee.

Multiple cards should make no difference. How are they networked?

I presume this machine is an internet gateway? Therefore the nic on the lan should be 192.168.0.1 The other will be the isp assigned address.
Run the network setup wizard first. See what that brings.

no . its a web server with static pub ip and a local ip for its management

hey if u hav a yahooo id we can chat some, my id is gopa_hcl

well i dint get u abt tht" running net work wizard ""

i removed all the ip address frm the machine and restarted it and given the ips again .
still it is giving tht error

finally.

i got a solution which is disable the netbt of any or both of the lan cards tcp ip . thn it wont givs tis error
well as in my situation its working fine till.
