Hi
I'm trying to set a Windows 2003 server up in a normal office environment?
All I am trying to do is share 2 folders on the server between 14 other PC’s, you wouldn’t think it would be so hard would you
I installed Windows 2003 on a server last night and could only get 4 out of the 14 PC's to get access to the shared folder, the rest said "Access is denied" but I'd opened it up to everyone having full control!
Really, really frustrating as everything, all the settings looked exactly the same.
All the pc’s can see the server and the folder that is shared but as soon as I click of try to access that folder it gives me the “access denied”.
Why can't it be as easy as setting up an XP network?
If you could shed any light on this problem I would really appreciate it as I'm at a loss at the moment

(
I created a group
Put all the PC names into that group
Gave the group administrator privileges
Shared the folder for the group and everyone
Shouldn’t that be it?
Thanks
