there all gone!!!1!!1!11!

ok...hers the deal. i have a family of 5 ok. and when i am logged on and doing something improtant someone NEEDS to do something. and if i cant save the info theres nothing that i could do. so in my case i need the fast user switching and the welcome screen. but when i try to activate it there is a pop-up that says that they have been removed and i have to reinstall them. and i dont know where to find them?

i read a thread about this followed its advice but it didnt work out!! WTF!!
can somebody HELP plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok...
when u go to

control panel>user accounts>user accounts>change the way users log on or off

thats where my problem is... is says that they have been 'removed'

You should repair your OS using your Windows XP CDROM. Just reinstall the OS under your current installation.
Don't worry that all your current settings and files will stay where they are.
